Pathways for Entrepreneurial Success is an inclusive entrepreneurial training program to develop the skills and the “mindset” needed to start a business. Using the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program curriculum, which focuses on mindset as its core foundation, Pathways develops the head and heart to seek, explore, and refine the vision and steps needed to start the business that you desire.
The Center for Creative Economy provides programs for inception and early-stage business training to expand the capacity of creatives to emerge as viable entrepreneurs. Our inclusive, customized education and mentorship programs fulfill our mission to Launch, Grow, and Accelerate a diverse range of creative entrepreneurs and business owners.
Pathways will collaborate with community partners and business mentors to guide participants to the resources available in Winston-Salem, and assist your transition into the ecosystem.
Participation Pathways is FREE.
The program is funded by the City of Winston Salem with federal funds designated for economic development and is limited to residents of Winston-Salem from low to moderate income households. The Center for Creative Economy is the host of the program and will collaborate with community partners to implement it.
Applications are closed. The Pathways program will return in the Winter and Spring of 2025.
CCE will collaborate with Joy Nelson Thomas, founder of New Journey Management Group (NJMG), as the Project Manager for Pathways. NJMG is a Winston-Salem based project management company that provides for-profit and nonprofit enterprises with tactical support and accountability to accelerate their growth.
